I'm a fan of Yang who is reminded every time I see him why I joined his Forward Party. I watched this a couple of weeks ago and can say it is worth every minute. These two demonstrate the kind of conversation we could and should be having, in contrast to the insanity (trying the same thing and expecting different results) of politics as usual.

Beautiful comment. Right on! Do you have any reaction to that laugh of Yang's? If I were his advisor I'd give him a heads-up about cooling it.

You're probably right, and he's probably heard it and shrugged. He cops to being a nerd but is so relatable that it may be part of his charm.

The inequality of income has set the tone for how people are treated, and feel about themselves, forever. It’s why wars start. I wish the world had had the vision to give everyone the same respect, rights and pay way back when.

Way way back when, they did. If I remember my history it was agriculture when goods could be accumulated that first turned the tide. It's why we look to indigenous cultures now, who retain that connection as being part of nature instead of dominating it. It's time now for the pendulum to swing to the equality side.
