It's interesting that the first few minutes of the video touches upon another example of Ted censoring one of their talks. This was just in the news again for a recent talk: https://www.wsj.com/articles/shut-up-the-ted-talk-people-explained-politics-race-culture-education-d6a35fe1

Thank you Suzanne for tirelessly working to get your message out.

Thanks for that. It's been ten years since TED and I parted ways but hope springs eternal that they will get religion and reimburse me for what I had to put out to produce my program after they pulled the rug out from it and all my sponsorship left. Email chris@TED.com, who I still poke at occasionally, if you'd be willing to take up my cause and ask them to cover what they cost me.

Some of us had heard of UBI ten years ago, but yes (fortunately), there is a lot more talk about it today. Here is a new and very well done 30 minute video that provides a comprehensive summary of the policy debates to date: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rw0pohkYG44.

Thanks for the video. It is an education. The points are the same as they were ten years ago, that got me excited about UBI. I don't know that it's as much UBI being thwarted as it being radical and our society is complex. We may even be doing well, on any timeline, to have all the experiments that are going on, where it gets more tryouts all the time and it feels to me like it's coming on. One thing not mentioned in the video is about the feeling tone we are in. Now it's greed, antagonism, violence, all the ills we are struggling with. Think of a society that has fully embraced UBI. A sense of caring, the ambiance we'd all like to be in, would pervade!

Good to see Suzanne in action, doing her thing to help save our world. I would love to hear her perspective on the current war between Israel and Hamas.
