Thank you so much Suzanne for sharing this rendition of Leonard Cohen's song. May God rest his soul in peace. Thank you KD Lang for singing it so beautifully.

Doesn't the world seem less interesting with Leonard gone than when you and I were scratching our heads about how to get friendly with him?

My very favorite song! I first heard it sung by Leonard on his "Live in London" C D. back in 2009. Since that first wonderful experience, I have heard it sung and played by many, many artists. It brings me to warm, positive tears each and every time I experience it.

Thank you Suzanne for this lovely opportunity for me to cry once again at 12:40 a.m in the dark except for the light on my computer screen. YOU have blessed me and I appreciate it very much.

So sweet. Leonard Cohen called k. d. lang's the definitive version of this much-covered song -- better than his own!

As someone who is lucky enough to receive your emails, I am always astounded at the beauty, but also the simplicity of what you are advocating. All it takes is a few great minds to change everyone’s mind. You’ve been at this for a long time and I commend you for your passion and commitment. Let’s get the message out. It’s a new year, let’s make it the best one with many more to come.

I'm always hoping even one influential person to give me a hi-five. That's possibly all it would take to pick up enough steam to dissolve these walls we've built that separate us, to get back on a natural track of reciprocity!

I remember being in Canada and watching KD Lang perform that live on TV to the whole world. Was proud moment as a Canadian, not just of the performer, but of the songwriter too. Best of luck in 2024, Suzanne. Can't wait to watch that animation project with Brian Swimme.

I hope people click through to watch k.d. lang (she does it lower case). I think that may be the best performance of a song ever, by my favorite songwriter who left the world less interesting when he departed. When I checked to be sure it was the right link, I got hooked again and watched it till the end, with tears streaming down my face.

Saving the world is it's own reward, because it needs saving right? Or maybe not. Humanity's reckoning is long overdue. A full facing and accounting of every facet of our creations in this reality will better serve us. This is how the world is saved - by first "saving" ourselves.
