Fyi for what's working that relates to UBI:

Could Vienna’s approach to affordable housing work in California?

Housing costs and homelessness are on the rise in California. In the Austrian capital, people of all income levels live in subsidised housing – and more is being built.

Hi Suzanne, I remember you bringing UBI to my attention at least 10 years ago and thinking it was a wonderful idea. However, with my lack of understanding of economics but based on what happened during Covid 19 when governments literally pumped money into the system, the consequence - which they are now fighting - is inflation. As such, I am less convinced that it is the best or right solution. I just don't know enough about the flow of money. I'm guessing that it needs a much more enlightened humanity to make it work.

It's not inflationary. It actually doesn't have a downside. Pay attention to what I'll send Tuesday, my day for current reality. I think it should fill you in on what would let you see how well it would work. Come back and let me know if I'm right.
