I love that story about the unselfishness of these children who have nothing. I would sign up for anything that treats people fairly and as human beings.

I think a lot of people would. I see things -- like this -- possibly as simple, but no one has tried to do them. Anyway, now we have one enrolled!

Such a powerful article because our world is all about ourselves and very few people look at someone else as being an extension of them. These African children really understood that everybody is a part of everything. Thank you for pointing out what is needed in our world today. Bless you, Cherokee Billie

Love the new Substack title.

So does Ubuntu need to be taught or are we born with it and we need to unlearn greed?

It's characteristic of all the indigenous societies to live as part of nature, for each other not for personal gain. All those rigged individualist who built the mechanical world we are so blessed with did it at the cost of appreciating our mutuality, and we so needs a rethink now to essentially return to those roots.

Suzanne has been working toward this Bottom Line for years. She knows what she's talking about and wants others to join in with her efforts to get the world working in the right direction. Thank you for your vision.

I thought "Bottom Lines" in my title got people thinking I was concentrating on money -- which is a huge aspect to concentrate on but it's in a bigger game of getting everything rethought. Looking for the big rebels here to link up with and get this world working!

It’s okay to disagree. I welcome it. All beings are teachers. I am a great student who welcomes all viewpoints. I’ve spent the last 3 years on the frontlines with RFK’s non-profit Children’s Health Defense so I know him personally. My passion is with the children❤️, our future leaders. Again, hats off to you for your creativity & compassion. Onward & upward we go🦋

If you can do it, I would be forever grateful. It just seems beyond the realm of possibilities. But I love to be wrong.

Hope to make you happy!

I wrote something similar a year or so ago: Even though there may be no "I", there can still be a "we". It was an essay that included the idea that at the bottom there is no "I", but only "life". That who we are is life in the form of a human. And it goes on to reflect that it is in our relations that we have any relevance. Even if you are solitary, and you create something great like Beethoven did when he was deaf. He wrote it out so that it could be enjoyed by others. He could have just enjoyed it in his head for himself. But by giving it to humanity, he created a relation that would endure beyond his life.

Basic wisdom. Everything advances by relationship -- going back to the beginning of the universe when single cell organisms joined up. No relationships, no progress. And "life in the form of a human" is a way you'd describe the new story, the Universe Story, where humans are evolving along with everything else.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Announced his candidacy for President of the United States on April 19. He is all about the children as in his non-profit Childrens Health Defense, his massive environmental contributions, his passion for animals (Master falconry), his nearly unparalleled understanding of our political system & so much more.

Kennedy24.com. Committed to speaking the truth & being abused & shamed for doing so. Listen to his Congress speech July 19. Brilliant, heartfelt. We the people are sick of all the lies & deceit the/our government has dished out. No informed consent during 2020-2023 & it continues. Unlawful mandates, business closures, First amendment violations, & the list goes on & on. No one human being can turn it all around but having a courageous, committed, fearless leader is a great start to shifting the unhealthy & untruthful mainstream media continual lies. Yes, how about a conversation!

This is a troublesome comment. I debated deleting it. I think he is irresponsible and dangerous and this Comment section isn't a place to be taken over by dealing with that, so please let's just pass on getting subverted into that conversation. I'd like to see a responsible exchange about him that's taken on by some other auspice. Marianne Williamson has said she'd like to debate him even if there isn't a debate Biden participates in and I'd be all for that.

So very sorry you feel this way. It would be helpful if you would read this book, “The Real RFK, Trials of a Truth Warrior” by Dick Russell & even his 4 children’s books. As RFK Jr. Himself often says, “we need to talk about these issues & have compassion for one another “

I’ve been with Marianne for years & deeply love her as well. Yes, a chat between the two of them would be great❤️

Thank you for your work. I’ve been to your home & love your work with crop circles.

You know, Nina, we could trade so many pros and cons, but one thing that isn't controversial is his warrior stance, opposing things. I'd be interested in listening if he came from a desire to get to the truth and not in being a warrior bashing what doesn't agree with him.

Brilliant move, Sue. The name change caught my eye, and I had to check out what it is all about. Love the whole idea and sentiment behind ubuntu. How wonderful would the world be if we all truly cared for each other? Celebrating different cultures and ideas is the most enriching thing one can do and one of the best gifts life has to offer.

Very good to hear. I was looking for an attention-getter. Need to be figuring out how to get to what we know is the way. Love any thoughts you have.

At Suzanne's ex-TEDx West Hollywood event, "Brother, can you spare a paradigm?", Rev. George Regas spoke on the theme of "Ubuntu": https://vimeo.com/64874711

George, who is no longer with us, was such an inspirational figure in L.A., but he was failing when he did this talk which was supposed to be without notes. I did love his subject matter, but you did a talk that was one of my favorites for our ExTEDx event: "The missing link is in our future, not in our past": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHV5KlzcXX4.

Aha, so this IS your strategy. As well meant that it is, I doubt the viability of this. You are not the first that has attempted this and there are many right now on the internet. The reality it is seemingly impossible unless you are Bill Gates or someone with millions of followers. Not to rain on your parade, but we need viable strategies, which are extremely rare or non-existent, except horiz. governance which is an extremely difficult one to achieve because of many complicating factors. But no one said that it would be easy to break free from the dominance of the criminals who control governments and hence most of the world.

Please connect me with "many right now on the internet." I can't find anyone. And if you can't do that, please come back and have another say in light of that. Also, you state your opinions as if they are facts. Then you don't have to back up what are dismissals instead of conversations. How would what you've written advance the action, which should be the point of making comments?

I'm not a fan of our government at this time when legislators are serving funders over constituents, and in my body of work here I'm suggesting it's we-the-people who need to organize ourselves to do things government isn't doing and to put pressure on government for what only they can do. Trump takes it to a venal level, though, where if he held sway it would be destruction of our democracy which hopefully gets us angry enough to make the fundamental change we need. If what you're talking about riles us up even more, hey, that just adds to our incentive to make that change. The purpose of this post wasn't to bury Trump but to suggest our upset about him might light our fires to get us all to a better place. .
