I suggest we focus on what allowed Trump to rise to power and that’s our broken education system; it is unarguably the root cause. Only a massive loss would get people interested in education - the most boring of topics except to people like me - a called-to-teach teacher.
Education is democracy’s foundation and it must be effective or there can be no democracy. If we’re sitting on a broken stool we will fall.

As you do, keep in mind that right wing media has an easy target since our schools have undereducated children for decades. Citizens are democracy’s soldiers. When schools don’t produce citizens, losing the war is inevitable. To Carville I say “It’s the education system, stupid.” All democracy lovers must learn about education and protect our democracy’s beating heart.
We must do the hard work we can do rather than drown in sorrow over what we just lost.

Educating people well could get massive changes to happen by turning out awakened human beings, but it's not what's causal to our situation. When you get into late-stage capitalism, that worships money over love, you are in the causal domain, where education turns out people who think money is the object of life.
Because I know myself I know there are people not guided by money. I know I’m not that unique. I’m married to another. Children like me. Lots of friends who think like me. Money never called me. Making a difference always did. I hope to attract these types particularly with my book. 2200 joined my organization when most are too afraid to join so I know we can create a grassroots movement for democracy now that people are properly scared. I’ve been worried since 1995. People are catching up. My book is a roadmap for understanding how they took over education and includes a solution. I’m so glad I wrote it. I don’t think I could now knowing we have a king. I did it thinking I could get it to our president with hope it wouldn’t be a criminal and indecent man. I hoped I it wasn’t too late but it was. We have very few citizens due to our schools.

Make varied expansions of the following topic a recurring focus of one's messaging. Doing so would be a major contribution to combating global warming.
Consumers (individuals, organizations, businesses, governments) must promptly minimize their greenhouse gas emissions to bridge the gap while we work on long-term green technology and infrastructure. Less heating and less cooling (none between 13C-30C/55F-85F, https://greenbetween.home.blog). Less driving. Less flying. Less meat-eating. Less population growth (2 children max). Do it one's self. Tenaciously encourage others to do it. Tenaciously encourage others to tenaciously encourage others.
Embrace the message and tenaciously introduce the message "business card" to all one encounters. (One can print the business card 12 per 8.5x11 using a file from the Promote page of the website.)
Be a climate superhero - take it to the next level. Promote the message at local events. Files for posters are available on the Promote page of the website.
It would be nice if it were on the lips of every human being, but how to motivate people so they'd massively deal with this critical issue? Both givers and receivers would be in good energy, but how about a path to get something on a global scale to happen? That's what I'm looking for.
