They keep me tuned into how we got where we are. I keep trying to tune them into what we could do beyond electing Democrats, who won't do better than Republicans will at dealing with what we've created that's causal to the unworkability we're stuck in.
You have lived an amazing life and have been reaching for this your whole life. You never give up and you are so clear about what needs to happen to bring us together. Thank you for your work.
So nice to hear. Hopefully I'm not getting manic given what's going on in these maniacal times. In my little world, I'm puzzled when a few people get off this mailing list each time I post. (Substack suggests you spare yourself and turn off those notifications.) Am I offending people? Or boring them?
Or is it my karma to be misunderstood? A serious question. My first memory, age 3ish, is my only over-the-knee spanking when I thought I was playing a joke on Mommy and Daddy and they thoughts I was endangering my life. I wonder if other people's first memories match lifelong patterns. If anyone has an example, I'd love to hear it.
I sometimes tune into myself and realize I've gone out on that limb that Peter Coyote was describing. I even take pleasure in it, like I could fall on my face but I'm on the wire, not falling, as new thoughts are occurring to me. Another quote, by one of the flying Wallendas: "All life is on the wire."
Practically all the people you have introduced us to here are impressive sources. Thanks.

Great Peter Coyote quote. Haven't heard that one before.
