But that’s not the stuff that matters.
What we talked about in the interview is very definitely the stuff that matters, however, and I was glad to have the chance to weigh in. The issue of Israel and Palestine is something I’ve been discussing publicly for years, and the more we have a deeper, more nuanced conversation about it the sooner the horror will end.
The highest ally of the United States should be humanity itself. On the issue of Israel and Palestine, as on many others, we must find a better way.
