Hello to newcomers. I’m hoping you feel comfortable from the get-go in the river of change we’re swimming in, about flipping this zeitgeist so we become a caring species instead of a warring one. And getting on it fast, with our future as a species in the balance.
Being an only child, sharing things I like has been a way to connect up in a bigger family, and that got me doing this project now.
With every problem having a gift in its hand, what’s going on in the world provided my treasure trove that’s a gift to everyone. It’s outstanding things byother people, about how we got here, where we are, and where we’re going. There are the full posts I’ve cross-posted to you, and there are different sorts of things from my Substack posts. Everything is too good to only have had one moment in my sun, and now these gems will keep shining.
Some knock me out with great ideas. The writing is so good in others that it neutralizes the pain reading about terrible things. Some that come from a soulful place touch me deeply. So, you all, see if this Resource Bank doesn’t go a ways in helping save your sanity and invigorating your travels along the do or die road we are on. (In Suzanne’s Postings we’ve only finished 2025, but by the time you’re ready for the rest it will be ready for you.)
I don’t know of any other collection of the best of the best for leading us to a promised land, and if you do, please tell us. If I could wave a New Year’s wand, you’d all make resolutions to do a lot of reading. Actually, after you read just a couple of them, I bet you’ll want to read them all!
There’s a place to comment after the last post in each section, and if you say anything I’ll answer, where getting smarter together moves evolution along.
I wrote about rewards for subscribers who add to the Resource Bank in My money for your life. An excerpt:
“I’m deputizing you subscribers to be talent scouts for what could move the needle toward salvation. Send me writing of yours or your favorites by others, with notes about why you think they belong in our Resource Bank. If I agree, I’ll send you $100 if it’s your work, and $100 to you and another $100 to the writer of a piece you submit.”
May our new year see us getting closer to the new reality we have to be in.
“Life is a traveling to the edge of knowledge, then a leap taken.”
—D. H. Lawrence
“In a world where death is the hunter, my friend, there’s no time for doubts or regrets. There’s only time for decisions.”

In Now What? I advocate a revolution. You could say an evolution, to a next phase of consciousness where we act from our interconnection as one humanity. In not having paying subscribers I lose the gods of Substack singing my praises, where all I have for support is you.

This is sort of like your daily delights, but now, it’s Weekly Wins! It’s a great idea to collect the best of the best all in one place.!
The fact you put your money where your mouth is puts you near the top of the list of people who care about democracy—-a list we must grow for democracy to stand a chance! So thanks for that.
I contribute an idea preferring any money it might possibly earn be contributed to a promising candidate.
One idea I have is we need to identify an event that happened in Germany that parallels the January 6 insurrection and keep mentioning it. I don’t know history well enough to know, but if there was an event that turned their world upside down and carved Hitler’s path to do as he pleased as that did, it should be mentioned and compared.
There will be always be those who want to bring Hitler back, but they’ll always be powerless unless someone like Trump figures out a way to connect them to a bunch of dummies who don’t know history. The sooner we teach the fools who bought into Hitler 2.0, the better.
We must get better at connecting history. For most of us, a little history is enough. I’d like to see more comparison lists constructed for those who need more.
